This year me and a few of my rowdy buds are going to the local strip joint where they have already erected the Festivus pole where the nymphs will dance. After sharing a few ales were we will begin the Airing of Grievances.

Is there a generally accepted norm for a Festivus salutation? i.e., "Happy Festivus", "Merry Festivus", etc?

"Happy" and "Merry" are kind of already taken is why I'm asking.

I am planning a Festivus party this weekend for coworkers. I made a pole, sent out an "airing of grievances" form for people to fill out ahead of time, and am currently making up Feats of Strength Challenge cards (that will allow party-goers to challenge others to feats of strength).

Here is where I need your help. I want to come up with interesting feats of strengths that will work for both adults and kids (there will be several small children ranging from 3 to about 8 and I think the challenges may help keep them entertained). So far, I have a list of things that would be easy to implement (e.g., thumbwrestling, leg wrestling, stare contest, perhaps a "holding ones breath contest"). Unfortunately, I think these feats are rather lacking in creativity. I am reaching out to the larger Festivus commuity for ideas. With neither time nor money to find our first Festivus pole, a miracle has happened letting us know this move to Festivus from Hanukkah is the right one.
Godamn shower curtain fell on my head. And again! Friggin cheap bastard Target tension rod. Ouch!
Replaced today, and on the way to the trash with the old one realized the potential of what I was holding! It isnt regulation length but boy does half a shower curtain rod work GREAT!
