Okay, I like cops and I think that they do a good job and I'm glad that they are out there, but why do I have to be subjected to solicitation by the Patrolman's Benevolent Association (or whatever it is) every year? I always get the suspicion that when I politely say "no thanks" that I am put on a list that I don't want to be on.
