Excellent site, first of all! I just wanted to share how my particular group of family and friends celebrates Festivus.

First of all, there is a pole (of course). Everyone who comes gets to air up to 3 grievances. If someone grieves someone in the room, the person being grieved has the ability to respond, or re-grieve, without using up one of his/her available grievances. There is only one re-grieve allowed per person, so they have to be used wisely. People being grieved under no circumstances are not allowed to get mad at the Griever, under penalty of banishment from future Festivuses. After all the grievances have been aired, there is the Feat of Strength, which usually requires someone to drink a shot of something particularly nasty, served up by the Head of Household.

Also, there is a three-beer minimum per person before Festivus officially begins. Just because we like it that way.
