The Festivus Mollusk
Pteropurpura festiva (Hinds, 1844) This species of snail is found approximately from Santa Barbara, California to Magdalenda Bay, Baja California, Mexico. It is seen quite often in the San Diego area which is one of the reasons (besides the double meaning of the name) that The San Diego Shell Club chose it for its logo. |
